Perth Eye Clinic is a comprehensive general ophthalmology practice. We offer both Medical and Surgical Ophthalmology management.

Our doctors, Dr Michael Wertheim and Dr Hannah Clark, specialise in Cataract and Pterygium surgery. Our practice has a special interest in the treatment of medical retinal diseases, including macula degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion. Our on-site lasers are used to treat Glaucoma and Intraocular Lens Opacification.

Cataract surgery

Cataract Treatments - Accurate and blade-free Incisions made by Laser. As we age, the clear natural lens inside our eye becomes cloudy. This condition is known as Cataract and it is commonly seen in the elderly.

Pterygium excision

Typically performed under local anesthesia, and sometimes, a graft of healthy tissue from another part of the eye is used to cover the area where the pterygium was removed to reduce the risk of recurrence.
